Life Fully Embraced is about listening to your dreams when they come and chasing after what they tell you is yours. This is my story of a trip across country in Echo, my 1977 GMC motorhome. During my travels I will be working manual labor jobs at farms, retreat centers, and conservation facilities for a scenic place to park and warm meals with new friends. Find out more about it all by following the links below.
Over the past few years I have been growing to understand what I value in life. Weeks of late nights at work, months of wanting something more than money and years of an itch to travel motivated me to take a leap off the edge.
I saved enough working two jobs to buy a 1977 GMC Motorhome in March of this year. While on the road I will be looking for manual labor and trade jobs at farms, ranches, retreat centers and the like in exchange for a scenic place to park my home and share hot meals with new friends. Between work destinations I will be sure to take short trips to places that aren't to be missed like the national parks, natural hot springs and wildlife sanctuaries.
I have done my best to make sure my vehicle is mechanically sound and to prepare for worst case scenarios. I know, as with every great adventure, inevitably sometimes things will not go according to plan. But I am confident that this will be an epic journey that teaches me to slow down and to do more with less. This is my life fully embraced.
The only reason this dream is becoming a reality is due to the immense support of friends and family, I hope that you will share this experience with me as it unfolds.
